The Business of Being a Good Neighbor
Can being a good neighbor be good business?
Andrea Peters has hosted neighborhood events for 8 years as a way to serve both her real estate clients and neighbors. Hear from her how an ice-cream truck party in summer, and a horse and carriage ride each winter, have helped cultivate a love for her neighbors and neighborhood.
Kyle Kinsinger is a financial planner with Thrivent Financial. He invests into individuals who are finding creative ways to care about the people and places around them.
Come with your ideas and questions about how your organization can be in the business of being a good neighbor. Food and drink is included in registration.
We believe transformational learning occurs most often in the context of relationships. We provide a discount to encourage you to attend this event with someone. Use the discount code: PLUS1 for discounted registration ($20 person).

Growing up in Littleton, Andrea had the benefit of being surrounded by an amazing community.
“I grew up with the joys (and strife) of a massive and involved family. I learned community and hospitality from my Serbian / Norwegian roots. Good food, comfortable conversation, and warm hospitality make almost anyone feel welcome.”
Andrea loves spending my time cultivating these joys now while raising kids, gardening, looking at homes with friends and family, staging / styling / flipping homes, and being involved in her community in Littleton.
“I find that if you open your doors and invite people in, they will come.”

I hitched my horse to the Thrivent cart because we care for communities really well; which can only happen by putting people first. I love helping people and exposing people to the great community-minded platform that Thrivent offers.
I am an Ally / Volunteer with CrossPurpose, a career and community development nonprofit in Denver, and regular volunteer at Habitat For Humanity of Metro Denver.
